Destinations

This section is dedicated to innovative, proactive and environmentally responsible businesses that through supportive partnerships and joined up thinking are creating Green Destinations. The partners comprise accommodation providers, activities, bars, restaurants, shops, activities and attractions that have received environmental certification or are members of a GreenTravel recognised responsible business programme. Their commitment to responsible tourism means that you can choose a destination for your trip – be it a weekend visit or a fortnight of fun – in the knowledge that you can sleep, eat, hang out, run around, visit, chill out and shop responsibly.

They are leading the way in boosting Irish tourism and establishing Ireland as the Green Destination for homegrown and international travelers.

The peninsula has something to offer to everyone. Among other things: sandy beaches safe for swimming, walking routes for all abilities, a thriving Irish language community, a rich musical tradition, fine dining, sea angling, arts and film festivals, talented craftspersons and some of the best surfing in Ireland. Dingle Peninsula Tourism, a marketing co-operative owned and managed by its members, have produced a website to provide the visitor with the information they need to plan and enjoy their visit.
