In September 2015, a new era of global development began when the United Nations (UN) officially launched its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to transform our world and "leave no one behind" by 2030.

For this strategy, governance is of high important to coordinate and monitor progress on the implementation of new and existing policies.  Given the complexity and depth of this agenda and its goals strong and effective governance arrangements are a key element to ensure successful implementation.

Since 2019, Our aim has been to develop internal and external responses to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and incorporate them into planning and policy.  By introducing performance indicators for each goal.

We are tackling, 10 Sustainable Development Goals. These are:

Goal 1. Community Action/Help and Poverty.

Goal 2. Eat Better - End hunger, achieve food security& improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.

Goal 3. Stay Well – Promote Healthy Lifestyles & Wellbeing.

Goal 4. Learn and Teach - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

Goal 6. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

Goal 7. Use Clean Energy - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

Goal 8. Live Better - Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

Goal 9. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.

Goal 10. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
