The Falls Hotel & Spa is a wonderful, picturesque and homely property located in the centre of the market town of Ennistymon. The hotel is surrounded by 50 acres of grounds with woodland and riverside walks yet the town is located only a minute stroll away at the end of the driveway.

The hotel has 140 spacious bedrooms, 9 self-catering apartments and a self-catering lodge on the grounds. There is the Dylan Thomas Bar which overlooks the river Inagh and the Cascades Restaurant and the Thai River Restaurant to choose from.

The Thai River Restaurant is a relatively new addition to the hotel and is a really popular choice both locally and by residents. It is located in the original manor house, can seat up to 34 people, serves top quality Thai food prepared by our Thai chefs and has a wonderful relaxed, intimate feel to it.

The hotel’s leisure club includes a 20-meter swimming pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub, Jacuzzi, children’s pool, bubble pool and a gym. This facility is provided free of charge to all residents.
The luxurious River Spa is unique spa and a treasure in County Clare as it is located in a stable building constructed in 1720 and the beautiful stone work of the original building was tastefully restored and creates a wonderful rustic feel to the spa. There are 12 treatment rooms in the Spa and a relaxation room overlooking the River Inagh. The spa menu offers over 50 treatments that include a range of Massage, Facials, Body Scrubs, Floats and Bathing Ceremonies plus beauty treatments. It is open 7 days a week from 9.30am – 7pm. Treatments should be booked at least a week in advance of arrival to avoid disappointment. The hotel offers over night packages to include spa treatments.

The hotel is on the doorstep of the many sites and attractions that this county has on offer. It is only a 3km from lahinch beach and a few mintues drive from the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Island Ferry, Doolin Cave, the Burren Region, Ailwee Cave and much more. It is ideally located for a family or group as there is so much to do around the area and in the hotel.

The hotel organises packages that include entry to the cliffs of moher, surfing lessons on lahinch beach or a round of golf in lahinch, rock climbing, burren guided walks and kayaking trips on the river running along the perimeter of the property.

The Falls Hotel & Spa is committed to reducing its impact on the environment. We will strive to improve our environmental performance over time by adopting a committed approach to sustainability. This can be achieved by a constant procedure of monitoring and benchmarking, while the creation of an awareness of these ambitions among staff, suppliers and guests will be equally effective and rewarding.

Our family owned and managed hotel is 100% committed to honouring and respecting the Burren Geopark’s Sustainable Code of Practice for Tourism which can act as a catalyst for future natural, environmental, cultural and business growth and success.
